National Recovery Month

September is National Recovery Month, and Elevate Recovery Center is ready to bring our readers an exciting new article series on youth relapse that will discuss common triggers among recovering young adults.

National Recovery Month is dedicated to spreading awareness on addiction and recovery in hopes of providing the right resources to people who want to turn their lives around. When it comes to addiction, what began as a fun party drug can turn into a lifelong battle with substance abuse, which is why Elevate is also featuring an article on a drug that still plagues many young adults today: ecstasy.

Read “Ecstasy: The Brain Melting Love Drug” this month, and learn how ecstasy isn’t bringing as much happiness to its users as time goes on.

recovery-month-elevateFeatured Series: Youth in Recovery

Youth in Recovery is a brand new, three-part article series about the top three most popular triggers young adults face in recovery. Escapism may be a common activity among teens and twenty-somethings, but young adults in recovery will need to learn healthy coping methods for the stress in their lives.
